• Vestibular Therapy: (certified April 2003, Institut de Réadaptation de Montréal)
Vestibular therapy is an effective treatment for symptoms of vertigo or dizziness. One of the most common causes of vertigo is BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo.) This is caused by the displacement of crystals in the inner ear. The initial physical therapy exam will help determine if the vertigo is BPPV or caused by something else and will lead to the proper treatment.
